Sunday Social: Christmas Time

Hey friends!
Here I am linking up with Neely again for Sunday Social! I just can't help myself. The questions are just so fun!
So- drumroll please...
This week's questions are:
1. What is your favorite Holiday season tradition?
2. Do you have a certain Holiday movie you watch more than others? If so what is it?
3. Show us your favorite decoration or pinterest decoration you wish you could have
4. Favorite Holiday song?
5. Favorite Holiday dessert?
6. What is on your wish list this year?
1) My favorite tradition is a tough one to answer. I absolutely love making crafts with my Mama. We've made jingle bell bracelets, handsewn ornaments (that were much harder than we thought they would be), photo gifts, and a bajillion other things. This is my all-time favorite gift she's made me.

My other favorite is that ever since we started dating, my now-hubby and I have given each other a Christmas ornament that represents something important to us. When we are putting ornaments on the tree, you're bound to hear us say, "Remember that time when..." because all of ornaments hold a story.
2) I pretty much love all Christmas Movies. Especially the cheesy ones on Lifetime or Hallmark. But- I would have to say the Polar Express is my true favorite. I have to watch it every. single. year. or it just doesn't feel like Christmas to me! And of course, I have to have hot chocolate during that song. :)
3) Once again- this question is tricky. I really have a ton that I love. But this year? My favorite Christmas decoration is our little man's snowman ornament. This is the first ornament he's ever made (I mean, arts and crafts aren't exactly on our daily to-do list... he's only 3 months old!) but I am absolutely in love with it. I have a whole list (thanks to my good friend Pinterest) of ornaments that we will be making together soon because I just can't get enough of his teeny tiny fingerprints.

4) If you know anything about me yet, you know without a doubt how much I love Christmas. I also love almost every Christmas song. Except for Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas TIme. I don't know what it is, but I just cannot stand this song. I know. I'm crazy. I have a few favorites. Harry Connick Jr.'s "The Happy Elf" is definitely on my favorite list. I feel like I am the happy elf. I also love Merry Christmas, Darling. I enjoy almost every version I've heard, but none compete with The Carpenters. Oh, and if you haven't heard of Lady Gaga's Christmas Tree, I suggest you go listen. Now. Not because I love it, but because I can't believe that there is such a thing as a dirty Christmas song. Leave it to Gaga. (who i normally kind of like...)

5. My favorite holiday dessert is puppy chow. You know, that one with Chex cereal, peanut butter, chocolate, and powdered sugar. Yum. i know you can eat it anytime, but the powdered sugar makes it look so festive!

6. It's been so hard to make my Christmas list this year. But- I guess if I have to pick something it would be a necklace with my little man's initial or birthstone.

Hubby- hope you're reading this! :)

Aren't you obsessed with Christmas, too? Link up and tell us about it!
